Bad Lucky! Oh So Bad!!!!

Tisk, tisk, tisk.............. Bad Lucky struck again...... Is there no shame in this naughty person rising from with in me?????

Today Pat & I took a train to the city and then the tram up to Hettie's Patch. I couldn't find any fabric in either Spotlight or Lincraft while in the city yesterday, for the round robin medallion I am doing this year.

So I voted to go to a quilting shop this morning. Said to Pat he could stay home or come to another quilting shop.

After sorting out some lovely fabric for the round medallion robin, it was time to spoil myself.

I did find a couple of lovely reduced fabrics in their clearance room...... but they went straight back when I found the "Moda" area.

OMG!!!!! fabric porn at its best........ lol

I bought a 1/4 metre of each of the above in the "Astor Manor" range. To touch and stroke "Moda" is just an amazing feeling. The quality is divine and the colour ways are just stunning. Doesn't help to have cushions on display made in "Moda" fabric scattered around their shop. wink

There is an empty box in my sewing room, that is just aching to be filled with "Moda" fabrics, be they charm packs (got them), jelly rolls (got 1) or now 1/4 metres of fabric. I love Moda fabric so much and am hoping they will get cosy and multiply on their own. But this hasn't happened........yet.

I've decided to make it my mission in life to save all "Moda" (or as much as I can) in quilting shop or in an overseas order and bring them home to my sewing room.

You're only limited by your imagination

Oh, Lucky, I agree ! Moda fabrics are sooo lovely. I have a jelly roll that DD got me for my Birthday- my very first jelly roll= " frosted memories' and she said she wanted to press the middle with her hands to see if it would unravel- naughty daughty!!! I hope it will be good for my Gail Pan blocks. Your fabric looks yummy- Lucky " Lucky" :-0)

Love the fabrics!! I am keen to see what you make of/from them.
If you are serious about reproducing more fabric ... just sew lots of articles :) And put out extensive hints to family and friends near birthdays and all other excuses for them to add to your collection. [sage look]

I went to Hetties Patch a few weeks ago, just to have a look you understand, I walked out with quite a bit of fabric, have to save some for the next visit. It is so easy to get there now that the tram goes up that way.

Lucky you are so funny, the material wont multiply if you dont unwrap it and leave it in a quiet corner.

Lol, I was going to chastise you for being 'bad' again but after what I've spent recently on fabric I thought I'd better keep my peace :P!! Anyway it can't be bad to buy good fabric, can it??
