Mother's Day Give Away

I hope you all had a lovely Easter. We did here.

Next on the list of celebrations is Mother's Day and I have a give away to celebrate all our mums.

This is my second give away, but the first time I have actually made something for a prize.

As you know I have only been sewing 4 months. I am hoping the winner will like and enjoy using this prize. Feeling confident in my sewing, to be able to off something I have made myself.

My mum died in 1994, she never got to see me sew. In honour of my mum and all those mum's who aren't with us, I made these gifts for a mum, to either keep or to give to her mum.

Three potpourri sachets for your clothes draws and a needle book to keep your needles safe and sound.

Inside the needle book.

To win these four items all you need to do is leave a comment and to get a second bite at the prize, post a link on your blog and let me know, so I can check. mrgreen Easy as.......

I'll put all names into a hat and Pat will draw out the winner on the 27th and it'll be posted to the winner on the 28th April. That way its in the winner's hands by Mother's Day.

Good luck cool

Your only limited by your imagination.

Leanne, what a lovely heartfelt gesture. You have certainly become an avid stitcher the past few months! ( That is the polite way of saying "addict" hehehe).

Hi there Leanne,
what a generous and wonderful giveaway,
our Mums are so so precious, and I am so lucky to still have my Mum and Dad with me, and both very well.

What a sweet way to remember your mom. And very nice work too! My own mother is in a nursing home and the sachets would go to her to help take away that musty odor they tend to have in their rooms. I will use the needlebook! LOL

My mum passed away in 2003 from cancer so it is sad when you can't celebrate with them anymore. I visit her grave every year when we camp and I sit and talk to her.

What a lovely gesture Leanne. My Mum passed away almost 3 years ago and Mothers Day is one of the many days I really pine for her and wish she were here so I could spoil her again.

Congratulations Leanne!!! I think you are wonderful to offer some of your work after only sewing for four months, I'm really impressed. I've been sewing for quite a while and I've only had the courage to do toy drops for the Toy Society.
Keep up the gr8 work :)
